SDVInternational, in partnership with TCMP, is actively seeking a motivated individual to provide patient care services in a fast paced military treament facility to our military service members and their families. 

Our Team of proven professionals has the knowledge, expertise, and support systems to solve complex health care delivery challenges. We employ in excess of 900 physicians, nurses, and ancillary health care workers, who serve our clients thoughout the U.S. and internationally.
 
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Radiologist to work in the Dewitt Army Community Hospital located in Fort Belvoir, VA.


Specific Tasks/Responsibilities of the Radiologist will include (NOTE: not all inclusive):

- Reveiw and interpret special procedures and studies obtained on DOD beneficiaries from local and/or regional civilian medical centers, and Veterans Administration Hospitals
- Provide advice and opinions in support of diagnostic interpretations of radiological examinations and procedures as provided in conjunction with patient care and treatment as provided by the contract provider.
- Read STAT/"WET" diagnostic studies when made available to the contract radiologist for interpretation.
- Interpret all routine studies (including plain films, Imaging (CT/US) and mammograms as available at the MTF) and dictate a report within 24hrs after the study is performed.
- Other duties assigned as outlined in contract


Minimum Requirements for this position include:

  • Possess a MD/DO degree through an accredited U.S. Diagnostic Radiology Training Program
  • Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Possess 12 months experience within the preceding 36 months as a Radiologist in a setting of similar size and complexity (Fellowship training in a radiology subspecialty does count towards months of experience)
  • Have working knowledge of radiology PACS system
  • Current,  unrestricted license from any of the 50 states, U.S. Territory or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia
  • Read, write, understand, and speak English clearly and effectively
