TCMP currently has an excellent opportunity for a full time Registered Nurse (RN) to work in General Surgery at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, located in Portsmouth, VA!

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Evaluate assignments based on patient acuity, unique needs of the patient, equipment requirements and competency of staff and recommend changes based on their experience and patient needs.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with team members to ensure patient's needs are addressed across the continuum care.
- Set up, operate and monitor equipment used in the care of patients.
This position requires:
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, a Diploma Graduate Degree in Nursing, or an Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Possess current, unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in any one of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the US Virgin Islands.
- Have worked in a surgical unit or emergency room of similar size and complexity for at least 1 year in the last 2.
- Have an active BLS card.
