This position is a great opportunity for a Psychiatrist to provide services for the Wounded, Injured and Ill Warriors and in support of the Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury program. The program seeks to address gaps in the care available for the prevalent injuries among combatants from the global war on terrorism.
Requirements: Doctorate Degree in Medicine from an accredited college approved by the liaison committee on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association, a Doctorate Degree in Osteopathy from a college accredited by the American Osteopathic Association, or permanent Certification by the Educational Commission for foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). Possess and maintain a board certification in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the American Osteopathic Association. Possess and maintain a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any one of the fifty states. Possess a minimum of 1 year of full time experience within the preceding 3 years as a psychiatrist.
TBI experience a plus.
